The images in this book were produced using cardboard collographs and vinyl cuts.  I didn't discover the true versitility of collographs until I created the whale.  I created different tones and textures by separating and removing different layers of the card and layering the images.  I used oil based lithography ink with a heavy dose of extender for the background colours so that I could use the white of the paper to make the colour more vibrant.
